I'm actually really impress how much bass I get from a small and reduced speaker box the regular cab has but im more than happy about it.Appliances Clothing, Shoes & Accessories Computer Products Educational Products Electronics Extended Service Plans Extended Warranties Furniture Health Products Home & Garden Home Improvement Janitorial Machines & Tools Office Outdoors Projectors Security Systems Shop By Brand Time and Weather Toys & Games Uncategorized Useful InformationÄ®lectronics > Car Audio/Video > Car Audio/Video Accessories > Soundstream BX-10X Digital Bass Reconstruction Processor, Output Level 13.5 volt, Frequency Response 10Hz 100KHz, THD 0.003%, S/N Ratio 130dB, Balanced Input Noise Rejection 60dB, Max. I do recommend this!! if you have a nice set up and proper wires, speakers, and enclosure box you will be impress. Some people around the block have their cars with sound system and maybe they don't hear the rattles inside the car but if you are out the car it is annoying with the rattles. Now I know how it feels to actually enjoy listening my favorite music with a nice sound system. I never experienced the quality and 0 but 0 rattle vibrations or weird sounds on my truck. I couldn't even have it loud cuz is embarrassing to have a system sound and hear tons of rattles everywhere. I had to inves t $$$ on sound damping dynamat on trunk and door panels and still got some weird loose panels, clips or any other sort of sounds that killed the bass. I had sound system on: 2003 Honda civic, ford mustang 2005, Camaro 98 and I always had horrible rattle vibrations. I have a chevy c1500 1993 reg cab and it sounds amazing. Not with distortion or vibrations like cars. show moreÄoes what is intend to do, I'm getting really nice and relaxing bass. Ill add pictures and videos next time I get the chance and if Amazon lets me. I think i'm getting this low noise due to the low voltage of my HU, and could possibly even be clipping since i'm sending a signal with such a wide LPF. Overall im happy with the product but need to upgrade my bad stock alternator since my voltage keeps dropping when I try to crank it, my HU has an ouput of 2v but I feel this product would really shine with the 4v+ HUs out there. With this unit I found the bass sounds alot cleaner with the LPF on the HU set around 120hz with a 24db roll-off. I was sending a full signal since that's what AudioControl recommends with their epicenter but it would increase that low humming bass when playing songs. Now it starts to take effect around 1/4th of a turn and sounds alot cleaner but starts to sound wonky and distored at 1/2 a turn, it'll work and make the bass louder and lower but theyll be like a quiet muffled humming behind all the boosted bass it sounds muddy. So I changed the units jumpers from the 2v option to the "Oh My Goshhh" 10v+ option. Another problem I had was that I would turn the remote knob up and it wouldn't do anything, until 2/3rds of a turn then it would kick in like crazy and make me lose voltage. The biggest their terminals seems to handle would be 14 or 12 gauge. You can tell they really cheaped out, I recommend upgrading to a higher gauge. The gauge is also so extremely tiny that I accidently broke the power cable off from the terminal just by moving it around. A big annoyance I had is that the power cable it comes with is waaay too short, it's about 1ft long, maybe less. Installed it a couple days ago and have been giving it a listen. ![]()
